Synergy HomeCare, an Arizona-based, in-home care franchise, recently opened a location in Wilmington.

Synergy HomeCare of Cape Fear, 6336 Oleander Drive, Suite 4, is owned and operated by Adam Slack, Mike Rokoski and TJ Dunn, according to a news release.

“When you receive care at home, you're surrounded by the familiarity of your personal space, cherished belongings, and the warmth of your own bed. This comfort can significantly enhance your overall well-being and recovery," Slack said in the release.

The company assists residents with nonmedical care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.

The majority of their clients “lack a local support system and need to rely on caregivers for assistance cooking, shopping, running errands, doing light housekeeping or going for walks. Some even require personal care such as help with bathing, dressing or using the toilet,” the release stated.

“Our mission,” Rokoski said, “is to serve our community as if they were family, and we believe that this journey begins by nurturing and empowering our caregivers.”
