Jane Marr - Intracoastal Realty

Jane Marr grew up in North Carolina and is a graduate of St. Mary’s in Raleigh and Presbyterian College where she majored in Elementary Education.  Her sales path began as an account executive for Guess Jeans in New York City. Jane has made NC real estate her career since 1992. Jane was a multi-million dollar producer in Charlotte, Winston Salem, and now Wilmington. She has earned her Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations and works with buyers and sellers in all areas of the market.

Obtaining her real estate license at a young age, Jane had the opportunity to join a well-established Charlotte firm where veteran mentors gave her the foundation and training to grow in the business before moving to Wilmington.  Through the years Jane has learned to ride the real estate roller coaster, and she will get you to the finish line with grace and ease.  After moving her family multiple times, Jane can personally relate to the families she works with.

Before joining Intracoastal Realty in 2005, Jane co-owned a small real estate company, but soon realized she could not offer her clients the same services as the #1 company in the Wilmington market – so she joined Intracoastal Realty as an individual agent.  Jane’s commitment to her clients goes beyond the closing to a personal goal to help them become settled in their new city or new home.  Jane loves to meet new people and enjoys opportunities to introduce them to the community as well.  Her low-key, relaxed manner puts her clients at ease through the buying and selling process.

Jane is a mother to three wonderful teenage boys and two dogs.  Aging parents and a child with learning disabilities has given Jane a unique perspective, knowledge, as well as resources she shares with her clients.  Jane’s husband completed his Residency at Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem, and is an Orthopedic Surgeon with Emerge Ortho. The experience of moving through residency and Fellowships within the medical community provides great perspective and help for physicians moving to the area.
